Located just a few minutes from our beautiful Cityzen apartment this is a local, urban and family-run business which (believe it or not!) originally started as an idea for master thesis. Nowadays their burgers are well known throughout Belgrade. And for a reason! They are always fresh and delicious made with natural ingredients from Serbian local producers. Don’t be surprised if you see their logo at some music or other city events – it’s not a secret they are a favorite burgers in downtown.

 2. Intergalactic Diner

If you prefer to feel like in an American movie definitely stop by the real 60’s themed diner located in Vračar district. This is a first diner ever opened in Belgrade. As they proudly point out on their website: “We make the best food in the city and our goal is to conquer the world and the entire galaxy and the universe.” You want to grab a burger after heavy drinking at a party? No problem, their space doors are open 24/7 and they serve variety of food besides burgers. Also, they have awesome Jukeboxes at the tables and best thing about them is that all the money from it is donated to charity. So grab your spared coins and enjoy.

3. Submarine BBQ

This place is exotic in many ways – from industrial interior to interesting food offer.   They serve burgers, pork and shrimps. It might sound like an unusual menu which is no surprise because this is definitely something you are more likely to see in western countries. Place is also known for using quality and fresh ingredients. Reviews are full of praise for domestic sauces served with potatoes and those who are sensitive to gluten can have their burgers served in a salad! Wash it down with some craft beer and you are ready to take a nap.

4. Foodporn

Be aware because this one is hot! This place is decorated with, hmm well, kinky details such as thongs and nude posters which clearly indicate where you are. Of course this is carefully designed concept, aimed at younger population. Foodporn is tucked away in downtown’s popular bar district in Cetinjska street . Surrounded by bars and clubs it is a perfect choice for those lazy to roam around the city in search for late night snack. They serve variety of burgers from beef to chicken and even tofu and fish. If you are not happy with the offer it’s not a problem – please, create your own porn burger. 🙂
