City Break Week Guide: What’s On In The City?

Hello dear visitors. This week we have prepared for you ‘’City Break Apartments week guide’’. So, let’s see what’s going on during this week and next weeks.

ART FESTIVAL:

12. Belgrade art show – 30. May 2016, Jazz bar Sinatra

This cultural event was created to promote culture, with a goal  to unite different types of art. Among others, this event tries to draw attention to conservative environment and a lack of funds for investment in culture.

12. Belgrade art show consists of nine parts: poetic, music, fashion, storytelling, movie, dance performance, exhibition, multimedia exhibition and book promotion.

Entrance is free!

CONCERT:

An evening with Ana Popović – 31. May 2016, Hangar

Ana Popović, blues guitarist of Serbian origin, coming again in her hometown within  the Europe tour. Except blues, Ana’s performances include electric funk, jazzy instrumental, blues groove featured by female vocal and incredible energy, very characteristic for Ana.

Ana will perform in front of the Belgrade audience with her six-members band. The concert will be held outdoors.

Entrance: Tickets in presale are available at all Eventim Serbia selling places, at promo price of 1200 dinars for regular tickets and 1600 dinars for VIP.

Apgrade with Other people – 3. Jun 2016, Barutana

Belgrade will be among the first cities in the world that will host Dave Harrington, New York based multi-instrumentalist and ‘’Other People’’ who will promote their new album ‘’Become Alive’’, published in April.

Support to the Harrington and his four members group will be Valentin Stip together with Serbian producer Nenad Marinkovic, known as 33.10.3402.

Entrance: Tickets are available at Gigstix and Eventim box office at early bird price of 990 dinars,with  limited number of tickets, and the next price will be higher.

SELLING BAZAR:

Belgrade Night Market  – 3. Jun 2016, (18-01h), Bajloni open market

Large number of exhibitors and producers will participate on the first Belgrade Night Market, so you can expect wide range of  gastronomy, old crafts, art, design, cosmetic products etc.

Besides shopping and products promotion, you will be able to enjoy in the entertaining part of the programme, in the music of many street musicians, bands and DJs. The list of all participants will be known soon.

FESTIVAL OF AFRICAN CULTURE:

Afro Festival – 3-5. Jun 2016, The Museum of African Art

The Afro Festival takes the same place every year, and this time it will gather African and local artists, experts in the field of African studies, students, connoisseurs of African arts and cultures. The Museum will present exhibitions and lectures, concerts, music and art workshops to visitors.

Entrance: free on the first day of the festival, 150 dinars for the second and the third day.
